In our first conversation with the customer, this job was meant as nothing more than a replacement for their dated drop-ceilings in their basement. However, upon discussion about how they use the space — and review of their updated home overall — a conversation opened up about adding to the functionality of the space with some custom cabinetry and a larger, more usable living space.

Our Work

Overall, the custom work we did turned the basement into an additional space for entertaining and storage that matches the rest of the house. We added custom cabinetry throughout, building in much-needed storage for the space. We also added in a beautiful bar and television console, making the space the perfect basement get-away. Finally, the dated drop-ceiling and fluorescent lights were removed to make way for an exposed painted ceiling with energy-efficient LED lighting. to complete a renovation that added beauty and value to the home, the customer also made the decision to change out the carpeting for more durable vinyl flooring.

The Result

In the end, every surface of this basement space was transformed to create a comfortable gathering area that suits the customer’s style and is a seamless fit in their otherwise already-updated home. The project was completed on time and the homeowners with very satisfied with our work on their comfortable, welcoming new living space.
