As our customer reviewed this home for purchase, it seemed that while it was in their dream neighborhood, the outdated kitchen and bath made for an impossible remodel budget. But, from the beginning, they brought in our team to brainstorm how they could improve the floorplan and flow of the kitchen to make it more functional and modern for their family of five. This is a perfect project for the Malek Construction team, as we love the opportunity to be involved in the preliminary stages of a project to help bring a customer’s vision to life.

Together with our customer, we laid out the details of a full renovation of the kitchen, identified a critical path and project budget. With this knowledge in hand, the customers were able to negotiate a purchase price that allowed them to buy a home in their dream neighborhood and transform it into their dream home, all within their budget.

Our Work

To reinvent the spaces to make this home beautiful, comfortable and modern, this remodel included removing walls and dated paneling to create an open floor plan, a reconfigured kitchen layout, including custom-built cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances.

The Result

Dream home in a dream neighborhood accomplished! The way people live in and use their homes has changed over the last 20 years, and our customer wanted their home to reflect their lifestyle. In three months time, this successful renovation restored function to this beautiful home and it now serves the busy family of five well, providing them a luxurious living space they love.

I’ve dealt with dozens of contractors over the last 15 years between Akron and Chicago and Chad and Malek Construction are by far the best. Everyone knows the deal. The contractor typically doesn’t return your calls, takes too long, and goes over budget. It’s almost become acceptable. And that’s sad. Chad is the opposite. He is trustworthy, on time, polite, honest and does amazing work. Just look at the pics. You can’t put a price on this stuff. You just can’t. If you need any type of work done, call him.
